Compass College of Cinematic Arts is holding auditions for a half hour comedy sitcom: The Kids Table. We are looking for actors to portray an eccentric group of characters that have strong comedic timing.
The Kids Table follows a group of four dysfunctional adult cousins as they struggle to grow up and get ahold of their lives, after inheriting their Grandmother’s house.
Open auditions will be held at Compass College of Cinematic Arts (41 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids) on May 14 and May 15 at 4 PM to 8 PM. The filming dates will be June 5 through June 9 in the Grand Rapids area.
We will be casting the following roles:
Allison (Female, 22-30) - Frantic, clumsy but very passionate about her family. Allison is a failure at almost everything but has the biggest heart.
Peter (Male, 22-30) - Uptight, snobby and pretentious, the only person Peter truly cares about is himself. He is a complete jerk, but has occasional moments of sincerity.
Lola (Female, 22-30) - Naive, ditzy, and flirtatious, Lola has a zest for life even though she may not have the best judgment, which results in her making poor life choices.
Dante (Male, 22-30) - A slacker man-child, Dante is well-meaning but is too stupid to really have any strong impact.
Maverick (Male, 25-30) - The family’s lawyer. Bold, cocky, and mysterious.
Barb (Female, 40-55) - A rough and tough bar owner.
These positions are paid and talent will be fed on set.
