What kind of jobs are there?

The film and media industry is vast and it only keeps growing. Take a moment and watch all of the credits at the end of your favorite movie. Each of those names represent a paying job.

Do you offer internships?

Absolutely! The BFA program requires a 130 hour internship, but AAS student have the option of taking an internship too. It is a great way to get your name out there and see what you like to do.

Do you have career services?

Our career services department is very active in providing our alumni with job opportunities, resume reviews, and interview prep. Our initial employment rate is 84%.

Will students network with real pros?

Compass has a very exciting network of industry professionals that we introduce our students to. From guest lectures, to 1-on-1 meetings, all of our students have access to pros in the industry.

Why Are You In Grand Rapids, MI?

We get this one a lot, but we see this as a strength. The passion and work ethic we see in our midwest students gets noticed in the industry. We love our roots and we’re here to stay.

How Is Faith Included In the Program?

All of our students will take 2 classes during their program, are able to attend the optional LifeGroup and Bible Studies, and are mentored by our team of faculty.
